August 24, 2014Summer 1 CommentAspiring Producers & DJs – The Do LaB has Opening Slots For You The Do LaB is running a series of contests over the next couple months to fill opening slots for shows ranging from Hip-Hop to Bass to House music. This is a great opportunity to get in front of the audience of one of the hottest, most well respected promoters in Southern California. Submit your best DJ mix for the show of your choosing and keep an eye on The Do LaB’s Facebook to find out who wins. The 1st and 2nd contests (Worthy of DirtyBird and Blockhead) are already open! Details/Rules: Fans can vote for their favorite mix, and the winner will be chosen by The Do LaB from the top 5 entries. Encourage your friends and fans to vote! The winner will receive a 30-60 minute set depending on the existing show schedule. The winner must provide their own transportation to and from the venue as well as any equipment they would need to perform. Must be 18+ to enter. Game Changer July 9, 2014Summer 3 CommentsI have heard people rave about Lucent Dossier for years and I finally got the chance to see them at Lightening in a bottle in May and let me tell you, I get it. I also get why they call it an experience, that really is the best way to describe it. It’s beyond a traditional circus performance, though the acrobatic, aerial and fire art skills rival that of Cirque De Solie, their powerful electronic music foundation puts them in a league of their own. Awakening would be my favorite if I had to choose, but it’s a total package and you must see the whole show to get the full effect in all it’s splendor. Doing it, and Doing it Well for 10 Years! April 17, 2014Summer 1 Comment I am still reeling from the degree of severe awesomeness displayed by the Do Lab on their 10-year anniversary at Coachella. I had the pleasure of getting to see the gears of this well-oiled machine operate from the inside out. From crew, designers, producers, – everyone involved; I am beyond impressed with the plethora of dedication, team work and stellar TALENT that this incredible family of artist embodies. To say that the Do Lab Coachella line-up is impressive is an understatement, but my mind is so blown, I’m just going to have to use it for now. AudioMolly featured artists such as ChrisB., Dimond Saints, Gladkill, Kill Paris, Love & Light, Minnesota, MitiS, Odeza, Opiuo, Sound Remedy, Sweater Beats, T.E.E.D., Vokab Kompany, etc… Weekend one was such a blast weekend two goers, do not miss out. I might have to just make the track back down to Indio and join you this weekend, seriously considering it. If you aren’t Coachellaing it this year, no worries, you can catch the Do Lab at Lightening in a bottle coming up Memorial Day weekend.
