beeeelie intaaalesting March 18, 2014Summer 2 CommentsA little birdie- wait, actually a huge ripped birdie told me that this track is trap. I’m agreeing, partially out of intimidation, but I do hear a little trappity-trap-trap in there, which makes me flash the ice in my grill. How low can these sick electro ass reverberating growls go?Also, news flash Corporate is AWESOME! Where have they been all my life? Try not to be too annoyed if I post a bunch more tracks from them soon. Who am I kidding, you won’t be annoyed. You will like it. You will sit there and like the crap out of it. I love how the vox sound like singing into a fan, 2:07. “Yea-eeh-eeh-eeh-eah” And the creepy, pinging chirps and sirens at the end, word. static? March 7, 2014Summer 1 CommentCan I just say that I am absolutely thrilled about the new Trap, Dubstep merger?! Looks like Trapstep is my new favorite, naturally. The melody in Kyuto Kira from CruciA coils and deflates in a interesting way, with chipmunk voice and a little theremin hidden up in therrr too, amazesauce! trapstepanime, crucia, cute, dance, deathstep, dubstep, edm, electronic, killer, kira, kyuto, music, otaku, trapstepShare : Tweet
Bound 2 Dance February 3, 2014Jules 4 Comments This remix is straight out tha salon bitch!! Epoch is gonna rock dance floors with this one! Super dance-able beat and a crisp mixing of fresh sounds with just a few lines from our beloved Kanye perfectly peppered in. Ashamedly, I am a fan of Kanye but honestly, we really don’t need much of him interrupting Epoch’s masterpiece. I’m sure Taylor Swift would agree. Womp wommmp! I first saw Epoch this past year at LA Decomp and was blown away. Still in the youth of their career, their gritty grimy yet bouncy notes drew in a huge crowd of energy and movement! You’ve gotta get following ’em, or they’ll leave without you!! Remix, Trapbound 2, dance, epoch, grimy, gritty, kanye westShare : Tweet
Mixtape me anotha January 30, 2014Jules 1 CommentyyyyyYYYYYYYESSSSSssss! Stephan threw a mixtape on your face!!! It’s been a minute now since we’ve gotten more than 3 minutes of Jacobs juicyness. Obviously it’s taken quite a while to get a mixtape of this caliber. This mix takes you from grimy Dutch house to bass to trap to you name it, with highlights of hip hop making this musical journey extra super duper womp womp danceable. I’ve been a fan of Stephan ever since I heard his remix of Gui Boratto’s “No Turning back”. When I first heard it, I thought my heart was going to break or burst out of my chest or ears or ANYwhere! The emotion was just overwhelming and to this day when I play it I still feel it just as hard as the first time. To me, this is the reason music exists. Fresh in the House January 24, 2014Jules No CommentTruthfully, I must admit that I am not a House fan. I mean really, there’s only so much time I will allow myself on the dance floor closing my eyes and bobbing my head, until I need to get a really stiff drink (or 6 or 7…). HOWEVER, there are times when I will make an exception and gaddammit, I am making an exception for this one! So, I was just lookin for new music this morning, lettin’ my soundcloud do it’s thang and when this song hit 2:00 I spazzed and bolted out of my roommate’s room (nearly trampling the cat) to see what track was playing. Jayyfresh definitely has his own sound style that will set him apart from other House producers, with a beat to hop up to mixed with that dirty grimy sound to get DOWN to! He barely started producing just 2 years ago at the ripe old age of 16, so sky’s the limit for this guy! Electronic, Housedance, dutch house, grimy, house, JayyfreshShare : Tweet
