Pantastic March 12, 2014Jules 2 CommentsI apologize for the title… you know I can’t resist. I’ve been living with my roommate for too long and every other word out of her mouth is a pun. So quite obviously I’m really feelin this pan shit right here.. I think I’m started to get addicted to this “future trap” fad that’s swooping in like a swarm of locusts. I’m ok with it, as it feels less like slapped in the face with high hats and more about an upbeat tempo with flow. I’m also ok with adding flutes to electronic and I think there needs to be so much more of it. This song has such a catchy melody and a perfectly smooth and fitting drop at the end that also kind of has an Eastern flavor to me. I think we can expect a lot more amazing combinations of wind instruments in Tomsize’s future beats. This guy knows what he’s doing. Future, TrapDakat, future trap, Jungle Pan, TomsizeShare : Tweet
ALIVE! March 11, 2014Jules 3 CommentsPATRICK REZA! www.soundcloud.com/patrickreza TRISTAN HENDY! www.soundcloud.com/tristanhendy DJ MISS DUST! www.soundcloud.com/dj-miss-dust EPOCH RISES! www.soundcloud.com/epochrises BAAZE!!! www.soundcloud.com/baaze Just over a week ago I helped produce a music festival: Alive! benefiting, We Are The Movement (https://www.facebook.com/wearethemovementLA) a non-profit organization using House music and percussion to mentor at risk youth in the community. It. Was. Incredible. The support was amazing! So many performers were more than willing to donate their talents to this cause. GoGo Hoopstars, LA Sirenes, Harmonic Light, Fyre God, Dancing Fire, Darth Paul, Throwing Lights, The Machine.. AND A GIANT FREAKIN BALL PIT!!! It was an explosion of performance and ridickillus music! Alive had pretty much every style electro music you’d want. Kicked off with a live band, Bullet Made Statues started us off with trippy psychedelic music to get everyone feelin weeeirrrrrd then Baaze came in and shook the warehouse with a super bass and dance mix that totally rocked my socks off. So good he played an impromptu second set! Epoch rises stormed in afterwards with some serious heavy grime, glitch and dubstep that drove the crowd crazy… I mean honestly, who remixes THE LION KING?! Shit was GOLLLLD!!!! (I can’t wait to hear what crazy shit they remix next.) It was definitely a hard set to follow but DJ Miss Dust was perfect; absolutely nailing a dance club set with an energy that drove the crowd nuts, all while hoopers and go-go dancers killed it on the second stage. Tristan Hendy, the keyboardist for Bullet Made Statues, opened for Patrick with a sweet house set and another spur of the moment guest appearance with Baaze, further hyping the crowd for what was to come next: Patrick Reza. Obviously the house came down. The energy was wild and the air was crackling with fierce melodic dubstep (I think I saw a few angels hover over the stage with harps n shit… actually wait, we did have a Harpist there…) It was absolutely a magical experience where everyone was synchronized in harmony. It was the night of that huge rainstorm and that seemed to bond the crowd even more. So overwhelming and amazing! We are definitely going to be throwing more underground events in the future. Like and follow Alive! to find out about our next one, because it will definitely be more on the exclusive side. (We kinda wanna break rules, soooo being too public isn’t conducive for that. ;)) https://www.facebook.com/MusicArtAlive @AliveFestMusic Lucky for us, Epoch Rises released their set so if you missed it, you can kind of imagine how it went… just picture yourself in a sick warehouse covered in wall to wall gorgeous art, wacky performers surrounding you and a couple hundred people in costume and also that hot chick on stilts. For our next event I will be scouting for up and coming producers, so Follow us on twitter and Soundcloud and SEND ME YOUR SHIT!! @AudioMollyMusic www.soundcloud.com/audiomolly A few photos, to boot, but check out the entire photo gallery here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.225284007672464.1073741833.168714649996067&type=1 Summer and I during Patrick’s set Patrick Reza Summer is super stoked about Epoch! Le Art March 9, 2014Jules 2 CommentsSo I’ve been listening to songs on repeat for as long as I can remember. When I get addicted to a song, I will put that shit on repeat for HOURS. (I shit you not, in college I listened to A Perfect Circle covering The Cure’s “Love Song” for 12 hours straight.) Turns out I get it from my Dad. When my sister got married he listened to MaMa Mia’s “Slipping Through My Fingers” for weeks straight, my mom nearly went clinically insane. Alright, now with that history I will be posting some random art shit that I’ve worked on while obsessively listening to a song or songs. This is a digital piece I made from last year, while I was listening to Butch Clancy’s remix of Band of Horses “The Funeral”. I know it’s not new but I just don’t care, I love it in a painful way. www.facebook.com/JulesSenecalArt Artart, band of horses, butch clancy, the funeralShare : Tweet
Mix Cake March 8, 2014Jules 2 CommentsImma call this a Mix Cake instead of mixtape because it’s so freakin sweet (HAHAHAHAHA!!!!) …No but seriously you guys. There is nothing more perfect for the morning, or the afternoon, or the evening, than this mixtape. Boogaluke has an incredible mixing style with a ridiculously epic flow throughout. We’ve got a sexy theme consistent swirled up with grunt and purr worthy moments, switching up to glitchy pops then takin us down a smooth waterslide of RnB and when you get to the bottom he PUNCHES YOU IN THE FACE WITH EPIC. HANDS. DOWN. MY NEW FAV MIX TAPE! You will be getting animal to this. He’s that good new new, follow him NOW! Mixtape, Sexytimeboogaluke, mixtape, sexyShare : Tweet

Scare Me March 4, 2014Jules 2 CommentsI’m absolutely loving the eerie yet dancey vibe this beat is drummin’ to! Being able to balance and blend unique sounds is a craft for sure and Rude Kid is damn good at it. That piano plus the gritty bass and subtle vocals? YES. Going through his sounds he mixes in that sweet wubby wub with hip hop, bass, grime, darkness, and funk. He has an edgy sound for sure, always creepin in with a dark undertone that makes you wanna slither on the dance floor. With the inflation of electronic music you really need a unique signature style to rise to the top and I can’t wait to see Rude Boy get there!
