Don’t Fight It

Today was cloudy and gloomy…  I freakin LOVED every freakin SECOND of it.  To celebrate, I listened to this seductive mellow jam right here.  I love the floating haunting vocals with dreamy synths that just take you away… so much so, that at about 2:51 I start to feel like I’m getting hypnotized by that beautiful swell of sound.  Seekae’s remix doesn’t drift too far from the original (which is a dark gorgeousness in and of itself) but I like this twist on it… kinda adds a slower Trentmoller feel.  Exquisite!!

And the original!

The Best Gift

Oh bebe… this is just right!  I’m on a gritty kick recently and this song hits the spot.  I was hesitant at first with the house-y intro but you gotta just wait for the drop because you NEVER KNOW RIGHT?!?!  I was glad I waited on this one because I am super digging the hard raunchiness, as it was very welcome after the techno-esque beginning.  Def think it’s a great build with a good switch up for sound.  2:15 to the second drop has a Daft Punk (Tron soundtrack) feel to me which I think is a nice touch.  One thing that could add to it would be to play with the second drop a little more, add in some fresh sounds, samples or effects.  Overall, it’s a real good song to jam out to and will absolutely get you hooked!  Excited to see what these guys come up with next!!

far away from hoooarm

Yaaaaaay! Feed me and Kill The Noise together again, it’s as joyous as when you find your friends at Burning Man. I guess Justice nailed it back in ’07 with D.A.N.C.E., this track is reminiscent. Who doesn’t love little English children singing? Especially with an uplifting connotation versus the original inspiration from Pink Floyd’s The Wall. It’s officially a thing now, I’m expecting an automated English children’s choir plug-in soon. According to a post on the Kill The Noise Facebook page, they finished writing the song enrought to the school where it was recorded. Seems like all the best ones are done on the fly… Plus the melody is very similar to Deadmau5′ The Veldt, another one of my favorites. I haven’t been this happy since Thumbs Up for Rock’n’Roll.

feed me then kill the noise wouljaLREADY?!

aaand I just couldn’t resist:

mad visuals

Eriel Indigo is like a socially conscious Lana Del Rey, which is way more interesting in my opinion. Her new music video, Innocence looks like a slumber party with me and my girls. Get mad visuals from these lyrics in her electro pop wonderland. This is the first episode of the twelve part series, so I’m excited to see what’s next. Bring on the paradigm shift!

A new tasty treat from Feed Me, my favorite! It’s not a trick, but it’s definitely different; A cover of Back Home by Caribou. Interestingly enough he retained the indie vibe, so if that’s your thaaang, you’re gonna dig. What’s even moar nomible is his Psychedelic Journey EP, I’ll be chowin’ down on it all weekend. My appetite for Feed Me is just so ravenously insatiable, I’m beyond stoked about these tracks.

Headtron just released this delightful compilation that is guaranteed to make you feel good, Succulent Selections. jOBOT track, The Ground, Russ Liquid’s AZURE and Sugar Pill’s Away all got me boppin’. I really like that they finish it up with some Andreilien, just to inspire us to hit repeat.
