We know I love Trolley man, so I was pretty stoked to see this shit pop up in my SD stream. Perfect timing too because today is a rare gray day in sunny LA and I was feelin’ all “boohoo, I think I have to wear long sleeves today”. But then I listened to this mix and jammed out in my room til I was pretty sure the temperature reached “bikini-worthy”. It was really hard for me to pick a single track because they all just hit so hard. Sorry, I was out gallivanting at Coachella with Summer then I came down with this sexy Strep throat thing and then I went camping and then I had to see a doctor for the well timed Strep throat thing. (I’m a “sharer” ok?) But hey, I’m human again! Here we go! So, this is a beauty right here. I love me some sexy sultry pouty twisty love songs and this one’s currently at the top of my list! It just makes me wanna roll around on a bear skin rug (faux fur, of COURSE) but still… even if it’s on my paint covered carpet, I will be rolling around on the ground to this. Do you realize how hard it is, to hum in a sexy way? I’ve tried it and it’s a plane crash of a tragedy. Seriously I applaud this song for that and that alone (then again, thank you filters!!!) So I played this on repeat, and when I was done crawling around on my floor I created a lovely vixen, who hopefully makes you wanna crawl around on the floor. Doing it, and Doing it Well for 10 Years! April 17, 2014Summer 1 Comment I am still reeling from the degree of severe awesomeness displayed by the Do Lab on their 10-year anniversary at Coachella. I had the pleasure of getting to see the gears of this well-oiled machine operate from the inside out. From crew, designers, producers, – everyone involved; I am beyond impressed with the plethora of dedication, team work and stellar TALENT that this incredible family of artist embodies. To say that the Do Lab Coachella line-up is impressive is an understatement, but my mind is so blown, I’m just going to have to use it for now. AudioMolly featured artists such as ChrisB., Dimond Saints, Gladkill, Kill Paris, Love & Light, Minnesota, MitiS, Odeza, Opiuo, Sound Remedy, Sweater Beats, T.E.E.D., Vokab Kompany, etc… Weekend one was such a blast weekend two goers, do not miss out. I might have to just make the track back down to Indio and join you this weekend, seriously considering it. If you aren’t Coachellaing it this year, no worries, you can catch the Do Lab at Lightening in a bottle coming up Memorial Day weekend. Myth or Truth April 7, 2014admin 4 CommentsMy favorite thing about music is it’s ability to evoke emotion and take you away. There are songs that just make you smile laugh and bounce up and down, songs that force you to get down, dirty, and tribal, and songs that completely take you away. This song, is one of those songs that is so powerful to me that I pretty much hallucinate when I hear it. That’s a reason I don’t listen to it if I’m driving a car… The haunting vocals, amazing builds and perfect pauses.. I can’t get enough. To get the full effect of a song like this, you need to make a sensual date for yourself (and yes I’d do this. NO SHAME!) and turn on some ambient lighting in your room, put that lil sub woofer up as much as your neighbors will allow, rock those speakers, lay on the floor close your eyes and let that shit just float you away.
